Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Developer (Contract)

Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Developer to join a major Oracle Fusion programme spanning Ireland and Northern Ireland. You’ll play a key role in delivering robust, scalable integrations across OIC3, Oracle ATP, and OCI within a complex hybrid architecture.
This is a hands‑on contract, suited to someone who can come in, take ownership, and deliver without hand‑holding.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and build OIC3 integrations across Oracle Fusion (ERP, HCM, SCM, WMS) and external/on‑prem systems
* Deliver file-based integrations using FTP/SFTP adapters with OCI File Storage for staging and archiving
* Develop and optimise PL/SQL packages in Oracle ATP for data transformation and FBDI processing
* Configure and manage external tables for file ingestion and processing
* Develop and maintain BI Publisher (BIP) reports, integrating outputs into OIC workflows
* Translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions
* Execute and support unit testing, integration testing, and UAT
* Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues across OIC, database, and file layers
* Maintain clear documentation across integrations, PL/SQL logic, and OCI components
* Support and mentor junior developers where required
Core Skills & Experience
* Proven delivery experience as an OIC Developer on Oracle Fusion programmes
* Strong hands‑on expertise with OIC3 (REST, SOAP, FTP/SFTP, SaaS adapters)
* Solid understanding of integration design patterns, orchestration, and error handling
* Strong experience with REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON
* Advanced Oracle Database skills:
o High-performance SQL
o External tables and file-based processing
o Performance tuning on large datasets
* Experience with BI Publisher (BIP) including bursting and OIC integration
* Familiarity with OCI services (File Storage, Logging)
* Experience working in hybrid environments (cloud + on‑prem, VPN connectivity)
* Comfortable with tools such as SQL Developer, Postman, WinSCP, PuTTY, Git
