Network Presentation Maintenance Manager role at KeolisAmey Metrolink. We are recruiting a Presentation Maintenance Manager to join our Engineering Team at the heart of Manchester’s Iconic Metrolink network.
In this exciting role, you’ll take the lead in making sure our Tram stops, platforms, depots and wider network infrastructure are not only safe and operational but looking their absolute best. You’ll coordinate essential repairs and guide maintenance teams, driving an efficient, clean, secure, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues. Your leadership will shape the daily experience of thousands of people across Greater Manchester.

Key responsibilities
* Oversee planned and reactive maintenance across stations and depots, ensuring platforms, waiting areas, offices, restrooms, and signage are clean, safe, and welcoming.
* Lead and schedule a team of maintenance staff, contractors, and technicians, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
* Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations, KAM and TfGM standards, and environmental best practices.
* Create and manage proactive maintenance schedules to minimise disruptions and extend asset life; perform regular audits and checks.
* Collaborate with other KAM departments, TfGM, and third-party contractors for coordinated and seamless maintenance.
* Monitor and manage maintenance budgets, approve spending, and optimise resource use.
* Respond to unexpected issues (infrastructure failures, weather-related damage, safety concerns) with swift and effective actions.
What you’ll bring
* A relevant degree in Civil Engineering, Facilities Management, or equivalent hands-on experience.
* Understand railway infrastructure and maintenance protocols; able to apply knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills to keep everyone informed and aligned.
* Lead from the front with vision and positivity; empower others to do their best work.
* Experience using maintenance management systems and reporting tools to keep operations transparent.
* Strong focus on safety and wellbeing, with knowledge of health and safety regulations.
* Experience managing statutory compliance areas (asbestos, legionella, PUWER, LOLER).
* Adaptable to new ideas, technologies, and ways of working.
* Problem-solving with creativity and logic to uncover effective solutions.
