An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a qualified, experienced, talented, and highly motivated Lecturer to join our Business & Technology Learning Area.
The successful candidate will be able to deliver and assess a range of Vocational courses within Computing, Information Technology, and Esports.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach and assess on a variety of Computing and Information Technology pathways from levels 1 - 5, including BTEC Levels 1-3 in Computing, Technology, and Esports up to A Level and HND Level. The ability to teach technological modules within Business courses is highly desirable.
* Deliver high-quality teaching and learning, effectively monitor and track learner progress, creating a positive learning environment to enable all learners to reach their full potential in terms of academic, social, and personal development.
* Contribute to curriculum development, extracurricular activities, and assist with the planning and marketing of courses.
About you:
* Possess a relevant Degree and a recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
* Demonstrate successful experience of teaching Computing and Information Technology subjects.
* Be flexible to meet the needs of the curriculum.
* Have excellent organisational skills and be a team player.
* Be enthusiastic and inspirational in advancing these subjects within the college curriculum.
