Exciting opportunity to join a highly skilled e-commerce group at a time of growth and development. Reporting to the Head of Finance working in a small highly skilled team. Duties will include:-
Responsibility of the Assistant Accountant Role-
* Assist the Head of Finance with the month end close
* Work closely with accounts payable and receivable
* Bank reconciliations on a monthly basis
* Balance sheet review and reconciliation
* Assist with the monthly management accounts
* Assist with the year end
* Quarterly VAT returns
Requirement of the Assistant Accountant Role:-
* Ideally studying towards ACCA or CIMA qualification
* Strong Excel and systems skills
* Good training and grounding in double entry bookkeeping
* Strong reconciliation skills
* Articulate and confident
* Perfect role for someone making a first move from practice
