A respected primary school in Worcester is seeking a dedicated Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This full-time, paid role is a fantastic opportunity to support a range of classes, helping children thrive academically and personally while gaining practical experience in a vibrant educational setting.
What You’ll Do:
* Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons to primary-aged pupils
* Assist with classroom management, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment
* Provide targeted 1:1 or small group support for students who need extra help with their studies
* Help prepare lesson materials and assist with lesson planning
* Work closely with students with special educational needs (SEN) to support their learning and emotional well-being
* Contribute to the overall care of students, ensuring they feel supported both academically and personally
What We’re Looking For:
* A recent graduate with a 2:1 or higher in Education, Psychology, or a core subject (or related fields)
* Enthusiastic, proactive, and passionate about working with primary-aged children
* Previous classroom experience is beneficial but not essential
* A patient, adaptable, and compassionate approach to supporting students
* Full-time availability from September 2025 to July 2026
