Job summary
This post is for a Consultant Physician in Rheumatology with a General internal medicine component.. This post holder will have joint General Medical and Rheumatology responsibilities.The job is a full-time post comprising 10 Programmed Activities (PAs).

The post holder will demonstrate a firm commitment to clinical governance, clinical audit and risk management by the development of systems to ensure the highest standards of patient care are achieved and maintained.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the maintenance of the highest clinical standards in the management of all patients under their team. The appointee will be sharing with medical, nursing and administrative colleagues, responsibility for the day-today management of Rheumatic diseases. The appointee will share with colleagues the responsibility for the management of the Rheumatology Department.
