A 2-form entry Primary School in the BS7 area of Bristol is seeking a Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a KS2 pupil from the beginning of June.

The Role
You will work closely with the SENDCo and Class Teacher to support a single pupil in a KS2 class.
The Head Teacher seeks a nurturing and patient candidate capable of building strong relationships quickly. You should work collaboratively to assess the pupil's development and encourage curiosity and engagement in learning.
You will be expected to:
1. Collaborate with the class teacher to assess development.
2. Maintain high expectations for the pupil's success.
3. Assist with lesson planning and classroom preparation.
4. Create a stimulating and purposeful environment.
5. Be flexible and adapt activities to meet the pupil's needs and emotional state.
6. Report on pupils' progress and concerns, liaising with staff to meet their needs.
