Overview
We are currently recruiting for a confident Sales Support person to work for a lovely Southampton based company. Although the company has several hundred employees worldwide, this is a relatively small office where you will be working in a small team. The role will involve providing support to the Account Management team, processing and expediting orders and ensuring that everything runs smoothly. The office atmosphere is very professional and fast paced but relaxed at the same time. This role requires someone who enjoys managing their own workload and is capable of working under pressure.
Responsibilities
* Provide support to the Account Management team
* Liaise with suppliers and customers; process sales orders and expedite orders from suppliers
* Use standard Microsoft packages and a CRM database
* Take ownership for your work with autonomy and responsibility
* Training will be given and there is potential for progression
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
* Strong multitasking skills; ability to pick things up quickly
* Good level of computer literacy; accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to manage own workload and juggle priorities
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships
* Interest in moving into an Account Management role in the long term
