The Role
As Sales Strategy & Operations Manager, you will be at the heart of the sales function. Based in Leeds, with regular time spent in the field, you will analyse performance, streamline reporting, and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates across the full customer journey - from marketing engagement to purchase, installation, and review.
You will work closely with senior leadership, regional managers, and the business intelligence team to ensure the sales engine runs efficiently. As the Head of Operations spends more time externally with customers and partners, you will bring leadership, visibility, and strategic direction to the Leeds team.
This role will evolve quickly. Once reporting structures are consolidated and analysis is embedded, you will shift from diagnostics to driving impact — influencing behaviours, improving conversion, and pushing the business forward.

* Analyse the full customer journey and identify conversion bottlenecks.
* Consolidate existing reports into a single, intuitive dashboard.
* Own the reporting function and present insights to senior leadership.
* Develop and refine selling techniques tailored to a direct sales model.
* Collaborate with BI teams to enhance reporting tools and data accuracy.
* Spend time in the field to understand challenges and opportunities.
* Support regional managers and the closing team with coaching and insight.
* Build credibility and trust with the Leeds-based team.
