As our Regional Delivery Manager – Estates, you’ll be leading on the regional delivery of estate services, which include grounds maintenance, arboriculture, cleaning, caretaking, pest control and sewerage treatment plant contracts.
The Regional Delivery Manager will ensure that services are delivered safety, efficiently and in line with customer expectations, whilst meeting financial targets, SLAs and KPIs.
The role will see you develop an excellent service offering enhanced satisfaction and trust to internal and external customers.You will be responsible for the creation and delivery of the regional strategy for estate services ensuring that the strategy is aligned with business goals and customer expectations.
Budget responsibility will be in the region of £7m and the regional team will be around 20 colleagues including managers, trade operatives and an admin team.
You’ll be effectively managing the regional budget, producing reports that demonstrate cost, productivity and value for money across in-house teams and contracted services.
You will ensure that health and safety is central to all decision making, maintaining accurate training records and producing regular compliance reports.And you’ll guarantee that all estate works meet Decent Home Standards and internal lettable standards.
About you
You will hold a professional qualification in housing, property management or an estates related discipline and demonstrate relevant experience.
You’ll have significant experience managing large social housing portfolios and/or working in a regulated housing compliance environment in a senior operational role.
Your career will demonstrate experience of designing and implementing service charged delivery and will reflect the financial requirements of this. As well as proven leadership experience in managing large, multi-disciplinary teams, with a track record of motivating, coaching, and inspiring high performance.
You will have a strong commercial and financial track record, with the ability to demonstrate value for money and budgetary control.
You will have an excellent understanding of core housing-related business functions including Procurement, Finance, ICT, Governance, Health & Safety, People and Diversity, and GDPR compliance.
This role is a hybrid role, enabling you to base yourself from home. Travel will be required so you’ll be happy to travel within our operating region.
Our operating region includes Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall and London.
