Purpose of the Role
To provide reception and administrative support with a strong focus on accounts assistance to ensure full compliance with company procedures, regulations, and legislative requirements. The ideal candidate will bring solid accounts experience to support the Accounts Manager in processing invoices and managing finance-related administration.
Key Responsibilities
1. Reception & Administrative Duties
* Handle all incoming calls, transferring or taking messages as required
* Ensure continuous switchboard cover during working hours
* Greet and assist customers and visitors in a professional manner
* Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including franking
1. Accounts Support (Primary Focus)
* Manage the accounts email inbox: print, upload to EVOMX, and correctly file invoices
* Label, scan, and file invoices appropriately
* Enter purchase ledger, subcontract ledger, hire, and credit invoices into EVO M and EVOMX
* Resolve invoice queries and liaise with relevant suppliers or internal departments
* Verify supplier and subcontractor statements to ensure all invoices are received and processed before period end
2. Other Duties
* Provide support to other departments as required
* Perform other reasonable tasks as requested by the company
* Attend training sessions relevant to your role and responsibilities
Person Specification
Skills & Experience
* 3–5+ years’ experience in Purchase & Subcontract Ledger work
* Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and general admin systems
* Confident using telephone systems and handling customer communication

* High attention to detail and diligence in task completion
* Organised, systematic, and dependable
* Able to follow structured instructions and company procedures
* Positive, professional, and collaborative attitude
