Marketing Executive (Maternity Cover – 14 Months)
Hybrid Working – Newhouse Depot
(September 2025 – Mid-October 2026)

We are seeking a proactive and digitally-savvy Marketing Executive to join our team on a 14-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. This role is pivotal in delivering Brakes Scotland’s marketing strategy across digital and traditional channels, supporting customer engagement, brand visibility, and regional growth.
What you'll be doing:
•Digital Marketing:
•Manage and optimise Brakes Scotland’s website and SEO performance
•Lead social media prospecting and engagement campaigns
•Execute targeted email marketing campaigns using CRM tools
•Campaigns & Content:
•Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns aligned with business objectives
•Develop content for brochures (online and print), social media, and email
•Events & Brand Activation:
•Coordinate Customer Development Days, industry exhibitions and awards submissions
•Support the execution of regional events and promotional activities
•Analytics & Reporting:
•Monitor campaign performance and provide actionable insights
•Track KPIs across digital platforms and report on ROI
•Collaboration:
•Work closely with sales, category, and central marketing teams
•Liaise with external agencies and suppliers as needed
What we are looking for:
Proven experience in a digital marketing role, ideally within B2B or FMCG sectors
Strong understanding of SEO, social media, email marketing, and content creation
Experience using CMS platforms, email marketing tools, and analytics dashboards
Excellent communication and project management skills
Creative thinker with a data-driven mindset
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
