Specialist Teacher of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Salary: £46,586- £51,763 Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Full time, Permanent Job Purpose * To deliver high quality specialist support to children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEND) who have needs relating to one or more of the following areas (including but not limited to): Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Speech Language and Communication Difficulties (SLCN) and/or Severe Learning Difficulties. * To assess the needs of children and young people with SEND through early identification and intervention (when required). * To provide support, advice and guidance to schools and settings to improve provision and outcomes for children and young people with SEND. * To support and deliver modelling and training to schools and settings, and where appropriate, professionals and partner agencies on SEND matters. * To contribute to service and policy development.
