Are you passionate about following children's natural curiosity, awe and wonder and delving into their little worlds? If so, we would love to hear from you We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and inspiring Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly, long-standing, dedicated team.
Claremont Day Nursery is a 49 place children's day nursery in the lovely village of Earls Barton.
Successful candidates must be able to undertake and provide a clear enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
Salary: £25,000 - £27,500 per year (dependent on experience)
Hours of work: Monday – Friday between the hours of 8.00am-6pm

Job Purpose:
To contribute to the Nursery's highest standards of physical, emotional, social and
intellectual care.
To comply with all regulatory requirements, including the EYFS.
To work as part of a team to provide a warm, calm, welcoming and enabling environment for all children
To build and maintain strong relationships with all children and parents
Relationships:
The post holder reports to the Room Leader and works closely with the other Nursery
Practitioners.
The post holder is responsible to the Nursery Manager and/or Deputy Manager.
Key responsibilities/duties:
● To provide and maintaining a warm, stimulating nursery environment for all children
● To ensure inclusivity and equal opportunities for all children
● To plan and deliver purposeful and inspiring learning opportunities
● To ensure positive and effective communication with children, staff and parents
● To effectively deliver the EYFS, based on children's needs and interests
● To be responsible for a group of key children
● To contribute to the effective daily running of the room
● To adhere to all policies and procedures and inform the Room Leader and/or Designated
Safeguarding Lead of any safeguarding concerns
● To effectively meet the care needs of the children
● Be alert to health and safety practices to ensure a safe and secure learning environment, this includes at all meal times
● To promote positive values, attitudes and behaviour with all children
● Ensure confidentiality is maintained in the nursery at all times
