The Specialist Educator Role (SEN Teacher)

This is a dynamic teaching role for an individual ready to be a curriculum innovator and student advocate.


What You Will Do:

* Pioneer Learning: Design and deliver highly creative, individualized lessons that unlock progress for every pupil, regardless of their barrier to learning.

* Empower Growth: Use your expertise to drive significant academic milestones and foster essential life skills, celebrating every success.

* Culture Creator: Build strong, positive relationships, managing classroom dynamics with a calm, restorative, and consistent approach.

* Team Collaboration: Work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to integrate therapeutic and academic strategies.

* Flexibility Required: Role involves working across different sites/outreach settings. Own vehicle is essential for transporting pupils when required.

We're Looking For Talented Individuals Who Are:

We are looking for passion first, and credentials second. If you have the drive, we can provide the training!

* For the Specialist Educator (Teacher) Role:

o Essential: A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE) OR demonstrable, extensive experience leading curriculum delivery in an SEN environment.

o Foundational Skills: Strong numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE Maths & English Grade C/4 or equivalent).

o Experience: Proven ability to work effectively with students with Special Educational Needs.

* Character & Soft Skills (The Must-Haves):

o An inherently calm, patient, and compassionate nature.

o Excellent communication, organizational, and technological skills.

o A deep commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
