About The Role
Do you believe strong relationships can change lives?
We’re looking for a Part Time (17.5) Hours) Family Connections Worker based in Kent to deliver tailored, client-centred support to adult men and young men within the Criminal Justice System. You’ll focus on Family and Significant Others interventions as part of a wider Personal Well-Being Service.
What you’ll be doing
* Managing a caseload and delivering individualised, client-centred support
* Completing risk, initial and comprehensive assessments and care planning
* Delivering 1:1 sessions and structured group programmes
* Working closely with Probation and partner agencies to achieve measurable outcomes
* Contributing to service targets set by Forward, Interventions Alliance and local commissioners
What success looks like
* High-quality delivery of Family & Significant Others programmes
* KPIs met on time, with caseloads well planned and prioritised
* Strong multi-agency working and outcome-focused practice
* Clear, accurate and audit-ready case records
What you’ll bring
* Experience delivering interventions within criminal justice, wellbeing or family services
* Confidence facilitating 1:1 and group work
* Strong assessment, planning and risk-management skills
* A collaborative, proactive and solution-focused approach
* Flexibility to work occasional evenings/weekends and travel across Kent with reasonable notice
You’ll be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team, delivering meaningful work that strengthens relationships, improves wellbeing, and supports lasting change.
All probation-based roles are subject to enhanced DBS checks and HMPPS security vetting. These checks can take up to 6- 16 weeks to complete. Any offer of employment will be conditional upon the successful completion of both checks.
