SEN Tutor Salary: £25 - £35 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored academic support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities. Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' understanding and progress. Monitor and track students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development. Required Qualifications: Recognised qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) teaching. Valid DBS check. Experience working with students with SEN. Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field. Experience: At least 2 years of experience working as an SEN Tutor. Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of different learning styles and strategies to support students with SEN. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: Additional certification in specific areas of SEN, such as Autism or Dyslexia. Experience using assistive technology in teaching. Working Conditions: Part-Time hours, with flexibility in scheduling. Work primarily in educational settings such as schools or learning centres. Collaborative work with other educators and support staff. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
