Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. Studying BSC Nursing in the UK
Experience
Essential criteria
2. Completed at least one placement in a hospital setting (or sufficient HCSW experience in a hospital setting)
3. An understanding around basic patient care
4. Understanding of the importance of the promotion of health and well-being
5. Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team
Desirable criteria
6. Experience working as a healthcare support worker for a minimum of either one year in a UK nursing home or six months in an NHS acute hospital environment
