Cover Supervisor

Salary: GBP105 GBP120 per day (Depending on Experience)

Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term; Full-Time / Part-Time

We are currently seeking dynamic and reliable Cover Supervisors (CS) to work across a variety of schools in Nottingham.
This is a fantastic opportunity for those considering a career in education, recent graduates, or individuals with experience in youth work or coaching. The role allows you to gain valuable classroom experience while making a real difference in students learning.
Key Responsibilities of Cover Supervisor:
* Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers
* Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain on task
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively and in line with school policies
* Support students with questions and promote a positive learning environment
* Record attendance and report any issues to the appropriate staff member
* Provide feedback to teachers and school leaders regarding student engagement
* Uphold the school s values and expectations at all times
* Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
* Be flexible and willing to work across different subjects and key stages
* Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times
Cover Supervisor (CS) Requirements:
* Previous experience working with young people or children in an educational or leadership setting, in support roles or classroom staff
* A degree or Level 3 qualification is desirable, but not essential
* Strong classroom presence and confident communication skills
* The ability to adapt to different learning environments
* Passion for working with all aged students
* A current, updated CV and Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
