Field Service Engineer - Central London M25 Corridor
BD Medication Management Solutions is looking for a skilled and committed Field Service Engineer to join its Global Customer Services team. The engineer will play a key role in delivering high‑quality onsite technical support and training to biomedical engineering teams within healthcare facilities. The position involves maintaining and servicing cutting‑edge medical technologies, including Infusion Devices, Automated Dispensing Cabinets and Pharmacy Robotics, with responsibilities ranging from corrective repairs to preventative maintenance, all while ensuring compliance with Medical Device Regulations.
The successful candidate will join a team supporting BD Alaris and BD Pyxis infusion and medication dispensing systems throughout the UK and Ireland. Although the primary focus will be on serving healthcare sites across London (Central - M25 Corridor), the role requires flexibility for nationwide travel and overnight stays. The position demands both technical expertise and a customer‑focused approach to ensure the reliable performance of critical medical systems.

Main Responsibilities
* Perform on‑site or remote technical support & training, including installation, corrective and planned maintenance adhering to customer service level agreements.
* Provide exemplary customer service, escalating technical and customer satisfaction concerns and retaining ownership of resolution.
* Build strong relationships that support and drive commercial growth, operational efficiencies, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Maintain accurate documentation, reporting and data entry in our customer service management systems, compliant with KPI’s and Medical Device Regulation.
* Manage day‑to‑day personal planning, making efficient use of your time, ensuring you have relevant tools that are within calibration. Build and maintain an efficient car stock inventory.
* Strictly respect and comply with Departmental Processes, BD Quality Systems and Health and Safety regulations as required by BD organisation, customers and Distributor Agreements.
About You
* ONC/HNC in an electronic engineering discipline or demonstrable work experience within a technical field service industry.
* Strong IT background and experience, knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking technologies, troubleshooting and configuration. (CompTIA Network+ certification desirable).
* Customer‑focused and have a proven track record of providing high‑quality service and repair in a high‑volume and pressure environment.
* Strong interpersonal and professional skills with the ability to articulate, promote and sell service products and value propositions.
* Hold a clean driving licence.

Salary range: £32,400 – £55,100 GBP annual.
