Robert Half is working with a global business in Glasgow. This role is office-based 2–3 days per week.
Overview:
An exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join a growing business supporting multiple long-term projects. This role offers hands-on exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, and control processes.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver accurate month-end reporting and reconciliations.
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
* Analyse balance sheet items, including inventory, unbilled work, and WIP.
* Maintain robust financial controls and compliance processes.
* Partner with operational teams to support financial decision-making.
* Lead or support audit and rates processes as required.
Requirements:
* Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
* Proven experience in financial accounting, preferably in project-intensive industries.
* Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP systems advantageous.
* Ability to work independently and engage effectively with stakeholders.
* Must have experience working in either defence, manufacturing or related industries
