Maintenance Technician - Daventry Grocery DC

Tesco Property Maintenance is looking for hardworking and efficient Maintenance Technicians to join our growing Property Maintenance Team! At Tesco, our stores, distribution centres, and offices couldn’t function without the support of our integral teams.
Responsibilities include:
1. Ensuring all Tesco sites are safe and functional environments for customers and colleagues.
2. Following the planned work schedule to achieve first-time fix, maximising productivity and effectiveness.
3. Delivering high-quality work standards across the estate, with year-on-year improvement.
4. Building effective relationships with stakeholders through communication.
5. Collaborating closely with team members, sharing best practices and knowledge.
6. Using problem-solving skills and innovation to identify and develop solutions for key issues.
7. Owning tasks at a local level through to completion, informing stakeholders as needed.
8. Developing your skills through progression in the maintenance pathway.
9. Managing your own monthly 1-2-1 schedule with your line manager.
10. Using mobile devices to drive best practices in work completion and updates.
11. Utilising business systems for asset lifecycle management and reporting.
12. Representing the Tesco brand, demonstrating values-led behaviours, a positive attitude, and pride in wearing the Tesco uniform.
13. Participating in local and national meetings, providing valuable input and feedback.
14. Supporting KPI delivery through practical skills and effective use of business systems.
15. Supporting a diverse and inclusive culture.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in maintenance, engineering, or construction environments.
2. Digitally confident with mobile phones and tablets.
3. Relevant qualification in electrical, HVAC, or similar areas, or working towards it.
4. NVQ or equivalent, or working towards.
5. Full driving license.
6. Health & Safety awareness.
7. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
8. Office 365 knowledge.
9. Completion of technical upskilling modules relevant to your skillset.
