We have a range of over 1,500 products consisting of ambient, chilled and frozen. Role We are looking for a detail-focused Stock Control Assistant to support our foodservice operation. You will help maintain accurate stock levels, manage system updates, and ensure smooth communication between suppliers, warehouses, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities Monitor stock levels and process adjustments, transfers, and returns. Investigate discrepancies and liaise with warehouse staff to resolve issues. Update product and stock records in company systems. Support forecasting, replenishment, and purchase order tracking. Prepare stock reports and assist with audits and cycle counts. Work closely with suppliers and logistics partners regarding deliveries and shortages. The Person Experience in stock control, inventory, or supply chain administration is desirable although our client will look at someone in business support with finance or accounts experience Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail Excellent IT skills, especially Excel and stock management systems Clear communication and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Foodservice or FMCG experience (desirable) Organised, proactive, and reliable Strong problem-solving skills Comfortable working with data and identifying issues
