Adult Social Worker – Norfolk – Contract Role

£43.38 LTD per hour (inclusive of holiday pay) • £34 PAYE per hour (exclusive of holiday pay)
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a varied caseload, undertaking assessments under the Care Act and relevant legislation using a strengths‑based approach
* Develop, coordinate, and review care and support plans to ensure outcomes are achieved
* Support individuals to assess and manage risks within their community
* Lead Safeguarding Adults investigations in line with multi‑agency procedures
* Handle complex cases involving safeguarding concerns, capacity, and best interest decisions
* Prepare professional reports for court, case conferences, and other formal settings
* Promote safeguarding awareness and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of current legislation and best practice
* Work collaboratively with service users, carers, and multidisciplinary teams
About You
* Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration
* Strong experience within Adult Social Care
* Confident managing complex cases and safeguarding enquiries
* Excellent assessment, communication, and report‑writing skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
