HR Advisor
I’m delighted to be recruiting for my Client based in Manchester M17 for an experienced HR Advisor.
The position will be based at their Manchester manufacturing site on a stand alone basis, however you will report to/have the full support of the HR Manager and HR Business Partner. The site consists of approximately 119 Employees.
This position is for someone with excellent generalist HR knowledge and great interpersonal skills. The role itself is there to be developed and is an amazing opportunity for the right Candidate.
Duties
Provide HR advice and support to Managers, including disciplinary, capability, and absence management
Assist with end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process
Promote the companies wellbeing awareness and support
Manage absence and return to work reporting/meetings
Develop and maintain HR policies to ensure alignment with current employment legislation
Advise staff and line managers on HR best practices and employment law
Deliver day-to-day operational and administrative HR support
Contribute to HR projects
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience in a generalist HR advisory role
A strong, personable personality, and the ability to build relationships quickly at all levels.
CIPD qualified (level 5) or working towards (equivalent experience will also be considered)
Solid knowledge of employment legislation and employee relations
Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Confidence in handling employee relations and advising line managers.
A keen eye for policy development and process improvement.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality, accurate work
Discreet and professional in handling confidential information
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday 0800 – 1600
Salary
An annual salary of £35,000 (based on a minimum of 2 years experience) will be offered, along with funded training opportunities
