Edinburgh Napier Universitys School ofHealth and Social Care is a vibrant community for over 3,400 students, around 120 staff and the only provider of midwifery, nursing (all fields of practice) and allied health education in Scotland.
Our academic staff and students rely on a strong and dedicated team of professionals to support them and currently, we have an opportunity for a part-time Technical Assistant to provide hands-on technical support with clinical skills/simulated practice learning, and teaching & assessment within our School of Health and Social Care.
The Role:
As Technical Assistant, you will have the opportunity to use your practical skills to provide valuable assistance with the daily running of practical classes and project work for staff and students.
Whilst some of your duties will involve helping with the setup of in-room and mobile projector equipment, your practical knowledge of technical support will also serve you well as you take responsibility for the setup of SMOTS equipment e.g.: A/V recording systems/cameras for live streaming and recording.
