Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and target-driven Student Recruitment & Advising Officer to join our team. This role is key to converting prospective student leads into confirmed admissions while providing high-quality advice and guidance about our programmes. The postholder will combine strong sales skills with student advising expertise, supporting applicants through information sessions, career progression advice, and the admissions process.

Student Recruitment & Conversion

* Proactively engage with prospective students and follow up on leads to maximise conversion into admissions.
* Apply sales techniques such as consultative questioning, active listening, and personalised recommendations to match students with suitable programmes.
* Conduct persuasive information sessions (online and in-person) highlighting programme benefits, career progression, and unique selling points.
* Maintain regular communication with prospective students, addressing queries and overcoming objections to ensure successful enrolments.

Student Advising

* Provide tailored advice on programme suitability, entry requirements, funding, and career pathways.
* Act as a trusted advisor, balancing the student's needs with programme goals to ensure a good fit.
* Support students before and after admission, ensuring a smooth transition into their studies.

Admissions Process

* Guide applicants through each step of the admissions process, ensuring timely submission of required documents and registration fees.
* Schedule and coordinate admissions interviews in collaboration with academic teams.
* Maintain accurate records of enquiries, applications, and enrolments within the CRM system.

Sales & Marketing Support

* Contribute to student recruitment campaigns, events, and outreach activities.
* Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and share feedback with the marketing and admissions teams.
* Track and report on recruitment KPIs, such as lead-to-enrolment ratios and pipeline progress.

Skills & Experience Required

* Proven experience in student recruitment or any other similar roles, admissions, or a sales/consulting role.
* Strong sales skills with the ability to build rapport, influence decisions, and close admissions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple enquiries and deadlines.
* Confident in delivering presentations and information sessions.
* Proficiency in CRM systems, databases, and MS Office applications.
* A proactive, target-focused mindset with resilience and problem-solving ability.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to £25,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bracknell RG12 1WA
