Welder/Fabricator. Wembley Area. £35,000-£40,000 + OT
Most ads for welders talk about “an exciting opportunity” like you’re about to join NASA. Unfortunately they’re not on my client list yet. This is factory-based welding and fabrication. It’s solid work, steady hours, decent pay, and you’ll be part of a team that actually needs what you do to keep the place moving.
This role’s all about keeping the site’s equipment in good shape — welding, fabricating, stripping, rebuilding, greasing, replacing like for like components, the works. It’s hands-on, varied, and you’ll get all the training you need to not only perform well but progress to the next steps in your career.
Hours: Day shift/Early shift. Sunday - Thursday
Salary: Around £40K+ with allowances and bonuses, plus OT if you fancy topping up.
What you’ll need:
* Basic welding – Ideally TIG & MIG
* fabrication experience (bonus if you can read drawings)
* Fit enough for hands-on work
* Good communicator, can-do attitude, team player
* Experience in a factory/manufacturing environment is handy but not essential
