The salary advertised is for full-time work (35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year). Part-time hours or sessional posts will be pro-rated accordingly.
Hourly rate of pay: £13.48 - £14.33
This is a 38-week sessional post, with working hours during school term time only.
Post 1 - 16 Hours per Week
Days and Hours of Work:
Monday - Thursday, 10:00-14:00
Post 2 - 14 Hours per Week
Days and Hours of Work:
Monday - Thursday, 10:30-14:00
Post 3 - 12 Hours per Week
Days and Hours of Work:
Monday - Thursday, 11:00-14:00
Start date: October 2025.
You will be asked to specify which post(s) you wish to be considered for when completing the application form.
All applicants must hold an Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2). This can be obtained online from many training providers.
Job Details
Assist in providing a quality catering and function service, ensuring compliance with relevant legislative requirements including health and safety, food hygiene, and hazard analysis.

Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate.
PVG Membership
This role is considered a regulated role involving work with vulnerable children and/or protected adults, as per the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020.
Candidates must become a PVG Scheme member or update their existing membership before an offer of employment is made.
