About The Role Job Purpose The procurement manager ensur es high quality supply of a range goods and services at Influencing procurement and supply strategy for products and services controlled, to ensure that strategies reflect best value goals. Key Result Area / Principal Duties and Responsibilities Management of a portfolio of suppliers with an overall spend of c £25mpa. This include s analysing spend in detail, providing opportunity analysis and measurement of performance, value and sustainability from the supplier are n a • Develop and drive BrewDog’s supplier development program delivering best in class supplier performance • Negotiation of key contracts to ensur ing appropriate contract documentation is in place • Engage key stakeholders at all levels in driving performance and cost improvement benefits • Achieve agreed objectives including cost reduction, cost saving and business benefit targets and timely completion of contract negotiations to meet stakeholder expectations, ensuring that the business benefit target is delivered. • Ensure that all purchasing is consistent with all Health and Safety and Environmental law and all other relevant legislation, ensuring that all relevant legislation is adhered to. Influencing procurement and supply strategy for products and services controlled, to ensure that strategies reflect best value goals. • Support the Head of Procurement in identifying and developing business processes and KPI’s ensuring consistency and to deliver ‘best in class’ services. Key Relationships - Internal & External Internal across Retail and Operational business Commercial Finance Analysts Operations Director Head of Marketing Head of Distilling External contacts Supplier CEO’s Supplier Finance Directors Suppler Commercial Directors Health & Safety Ensure that Health and Safety guidelines and fire regulations are strictly adhered to at all times. Comply with safe working practices as defined by BrewDog. Complete online or face to face training as and when. Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by acts or omissions at work. Report any accidents, incidents or near misses as soon as reasonably practicable. General Be aware of and adhere to BrewDog policies and the Workplace Code at all times. Take part in crew reviews throughout the year. Cooperate with other BrewDog departments to achieve a great experience for our customers, applicants, colleagues, and contractors. Attend training courses and complete online training modules as required to meet the requirements of the role. Take responsibility for own personal development, seeking out opportunities to learn new skills. Undertake any other duties as requested which are reasonably deemed to be within the scope of the role or necessary for the smooth running of the business. Apply the BrewDog charter and behaviours to every aspect of the role at all times Protect and enhance the interests and reputation of BrewDog internally and externally. About You Qualifications & Specific Training CIPS Qualification is desirable Degree or equivalent academic qualification Experience Sub stantial in a similar role Knowledge Detailed knowledge of category management, between Food, Drink or Services led categories. Demonstrable project management skills with a track record of on-time & in-full delivery. Significant understanding of working cross-functionally to deliver complex changes in operations. Skills High level emotional intelligence, strongly assertive Able to construct and communicate a verbal, written or PowerPoint message, refining on their feet in response to stakeholder feedback. Ability to work to tight deadlines in a culture of re-engineering. Operating under the scrutiny of senior cross-functional management. Highly numerate Personal Attributes Self-motivated with the ability to bring positive energy and focus to peers & subordinates. Confident and high self-esteem
