Are you a passionate and resilient Science teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? Teaching Personnel is currently working in partnership with a Secondary Alternative Provision that caters to pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. From September, this fantastic school is seeking a dedicated full-time Science teacher to join their team.
* A nurturing and supportive environment for pupils aged 11-16 who require an alternative to mainstream education.
* A strong focus on emotional development, positive behaviour strategies, and individual progress.
* Experienced and committed staff who work collaboratively to meet the diverse needs of each learner.
* Deliver engaging and accessible Science lessons (KS3-KS4) across all three disciplines.
* Adapt teaching styles to support pupils with SEMH and a range of additional needs.
* Create a safe and structured learning environment that promotes both academic and personal growth.
* Collaborate with pastoral and support staff to implement tailored behaviour and learning strategies.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching Science at secondary level, ideally within an SEN/SEMH or alternative provision setting.
* Strong classroom management skills and a calm, empathetic approach.
* Committed to helping vulnerable young people re-engage with their education.
* Dedicated consultant to support you throughout your placement.
