D365 F&O Solution Architect
Location: United Kingdom (Remote with occasional travel)

We’re seeking a passionate professional with deep Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations expertise to design and deliver successful solutions. As a trusted advisor, you’ll build strategic relationships, lead complex implementations, and set the standard for innovation and best practice across the client base.
Position Overview
* Reporting to the Head of Client Delivery
* Some direct line management responsibilities
* UK-based remote role with occasional travel to client sites or office locations
* Core hours 9:00–17:30 (UK) with flexibility around client needs
* Work alongside a global team of Microsoft professionals in a supportive, ethical, and growth-oriented environment that values independence, creativity, and collaboration
Key Responsibilities
* Lead full lifecycle D365 Finance implementations, from analysis and requirements gathering to solution design, build, and go-live
* Conduct discovery workshops to understand client needs, especially within professional services/legal sectors, and design tailored solutions
* Define solution vision and roadmaps, assess business challenges, recommend optimal options, and align with IT/security standards
* Collaborate with stakeholders to formalise and adopt technology standards and best practices
* Ensure solutions align with business objectives and technical guidelines, managing scope, risks, and mitigations
* Support pre-sales activities (demos, RFP/RFI responses, prototype development, and solution design)
* Produce Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and Solution Design Documents (SDDs)
* Lead functional solution design across complex workstreams, acting as liaison between business and technical teams
* Mentor consultants and contribute to internal methodologies and IP development
* Deliver training and knowledge transfer to build capability within client and internal teams
Skills and Experience
* 10+ years as a Microsoft Dynamics Functional Consultant/Architect
* Expertise in Dynamics 365 F&O Finance and Project Operations
* Proven track record of designing and delivering end-to-end solutions
* Strong knowledge of BI, reporting, and analytics
* Deep understanding of business processes in professional services/legal sectors
* Consulting mindset with the ability to shape product strategy
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, including bid and RFP support
* Strong project management skills with resilience in fast-paced environments
* Exceptional communication, mentoring, and training skills
* Analytical thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
* (Relevant Microsoft certifications highly desirable)
Travel
* Occasional visits to customer sites and office locations
