SAP Business Capabilities Manager – UK- Remote

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP Business Capabilities Manager with over 10 years of experience in global template development, requirement management, and Agile delivery (PI Planning). The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business capability alignment, managing end-to-end requirements, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring quality delivery across SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Requirement Definition & Management
* Define and document global business requirements, translating them into user stories.
* Present user stories for BCO/DA approval and work with Product Manager, Product Owner, and Business Owner to prioritize features for PI Planning.
* Manage change requests, enhancements, and update progress in Jira.
* Ensure complete requirement traceability across the lifecycle.
Development & Collaboration
* Collaborate with IT teams for development efforts and manage cross-team alignment.
* Support PI Planning preparation and ensure delivery consistency.
* Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical leads to align on design and solution outcomes.
Testing & Quality Assurance
* Create detailed test cases and conduct System Acceptance Tests (SAT) and dry runs.
* Perform Fit-to-Template (FtT) sessions and manage defects.
* Partner with the authorisation team to ensure compliance and smooth testing.
Documentation & Knowledge Transfer
* Prepare and maintain process documentation, training materials, and playbooks.
* Conduct Knowledge Transfer (KT) to project, deployment, and data migration teams.
* Ensure all documentation aligns with global template standards.
Pre-Deployment Support
* Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support green team and pre-deployment activities.
* Collaborate on data migration, system validation, and final readiness checks.
Key Skills & Qualifications
* 10+ years of experience in SAP Business Capability Management or similar roles.
* Strong understanding of global template development and implementation.
* Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and PI Planning.
* Proficiency in Jira, user story documentation, and defect management.
* Expertise in testing, SAT, dry runs, and Fit-to-Template sessions.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
* Proven experience collaborating with IT, business, and deployment teams.
