We are working with a highly respected, family-run luxury care provider in Essex to recruit an experienced Senior Healthcare Assistant to join their boutique residential and dementia care home. This home offers residential, dementia, respite, and day care in a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment.
With over 23 years of experience and more than 1,000 happy residents, this provider is known for delivering exceptional care where comfort, dignity, and companionship are at the heart of everything they do.
The Role
As a Senior Healthcare Assistant on day shifts, you will:
* Lead and support the care team during shifts
* Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents
* Assist with personal care, meals, mobility, and daily routines
* Administer medication (training provided if required)
* Maintain accurate care plans and documentation
* Support residents’ engagement with activities and social interaction
* Act as a role model for junior staff, promoting safety, respect, and a positive team culture
* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
* Experience in a senior or leadership role in adult social care
* Confident supporting residents independently
* Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills
* Passionate about supporting older people and those living with dementia
* Full-time day shifts
