HR Administration & Employee Records Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UK employment regulations and company policies. Undertake HR processes such as onboarding, probationary reviews, offboarding, contract management, right to work checks and soft credit checks (where required); Complete HR related documents, including offer letters, contract and policy updates. Recruitment & Onboarding Working with recruiting managers, be responsible for the recruitment lifecycle, from advertising vacancies to on-boarding new hires. Support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process Assist in onboarding new employees, ensuring a smooth transition, including contract issuance, induction planning and system access set up. Ensuring probationary reviews are carried out effectively. Payroll & Benefits Support payroll processing by preparing and submitting relevant employee data (new hires, salary changes, deductions); In conjunction with payroll, resolve payroll related queries; Register new employees with benefits and pension providers and ensure accurate records are maintained; Liaise with external benefits providers and process related invoices. HR Systems & Training Platforms Maintain and update HR databases and systems, training platforms, ensuring data integrity; Support employees in navigating HR and learning systems; Performance Management & Employment Relations Assist Managers, with employment relations matters including disciplinary, capability and grievance cases. Take notes, produce documentation and advise on fairness/process on disciplinary/grievance/investigatory panels. Coach and guide managers on ER best practices and case management. Policy and Compliance Ensure HR policies and practices align with UK employment law and best practices, updating documentation and communicating changes as needed; Ensure GDPR compliance in all HR data handling and record keeping. Reporting Use and analyse people data (i.e. absence management and performance) to produce monthly HR data for management meetings. Experience & skills At least 3 years of experience in Human resources at senior/officer level. CIPD Level 5 Diploma (or higher) is desirable. Up-to-date knowledge of NI employment law and HR best practice. Proven track record across the full employee lifecycle. Highly organised, clear communicator able to influence at all levels. Experience working in a stand alone HR role is desirable. Experience working in an SME business.
