Are you passionate about turning customer data into meaningful, profitable relationships at scale?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced CRM Manager to join a high-impact Digital and Technology function, recruited on behalf of a leading consumer brand operating across multiple African markets. This role owns the end-to-end customer lifecycle across digital channels, driving acquisition, retention and lifetime value through best-in-class CRM strategy, execution and technology.

Reporting into the Digital Customer Insights and Analytics Lead, the CRM Manager will play a critical role in shaping lifecycle strategy, orchestrating multi-channel journeys and embedding data-led decisioning while ensuring compliance, profitability and measurable ROI.

Key duties include:

1. Owning and delivering the customer lifecycle strategy from onboarding through to win-back across app, web and messaging channels
2. Building and managing segmentation, audiences and journey orchestration across push, email, SMS and WhatsApp
3. Leading CRM tooling, platform configuration, deliverability and vendor management
4. Driving experimentation, offer testing and performance optimisation with clear measurement frameworks
5. Partnering with Product, Insights, Markets and Brand teams to embed CRM into digital experiences
6. Ensuring data governance, consent management and regulatory compliance across all activity

The ideal candidate will bring:

7. 5–7+ years’ experience in CRM, lifecycle or growth marketing within digital or e-commerce environments
8. Hands-on experience with CRM and orchestration platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Adobe Campaign or similar
9. Strong analytical capability, including experimentation, incrementality testing and ROI modelling
10. A solid understanding of data privacy, consent and governance (POPIA/GDPR)
11. Proven stakeholder management skills across cross-functional and multi-market teams
12. A degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems or equivalent practical experience
