Job Description
* Manage day-to-day billing activities and ensure accuracy of invoices.
* Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to resolve any discrepancies.
* Assist with month-end closing procedures.
* Maintain up-to-date billing system and customer files.
* Generate financial reports for review by management.
* Coordinate with other departments to ensure billing accuracy.
* Implement and adhere to internal controls and procedures.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Accounting & Finance department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Billings Clerk should have:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Proven experience in a similar role within the Transport & Distribution industry.
* Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and general accounting procedures.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* An ability to work well within a team and independently.
