Are you passionate about student wellbeing and creating a positive school culture? We are working with a fantastic mainstream secondary school just outside of Peterborough that is looking for a dedicated and experienced Pastoral Lead to join their team on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis.

Responsibilities:
1. Lead and coordinate the school’s pastoral provision across key stages.
2. Support students’ emotional, social, and behavioural development.
3. Work closely with teaching staff, SLT, and external agencies to ensure student wellbeing.
4. Act as a key contact for parents and carers regarding pastoral matters.
5. Monitor attendance, behaviour, and safeguarding concerns and take appropriate action.
6. Deliver targeted interventions and mentoring sessions for identified students.
7. Contribute to a positive school climate that promotes respect, inclusion, and achievement
Requirements:
8. Previous experience in a pastoral or student support role within a school setting.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Strong understanding of safeguarding, behaviour management, and student welfare.
11. Ability to work well independently and as part of a wider team.
12. A caring and resilient nature with a genuine passion for supporting young people.
13. Relevant qualifications in education or youth support are desirable but not essential.
