Natural Stone Surfaces are a leading manufacturer of stone worktops, based in Chapel en le Frith and cover the whole of the UK. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Machine Operator to join our team at our Chapel site.
Hours of work - 48 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain multiple types of machinery to polish, cut, and finish stone materials
* Work within a team to complete work within agreed timescales
* Follow company quality and safety standards
* Handle heavy lifting and stand for long periods
* Work accurately to drawing specifications with attention to detail
* Use lifting equipment, overhead crane, and waterjet machinery
* Maintain 5S standards in the workplace
* Undertake FLT training if required
Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience as a multi-skilled stone operative or in stone processing/manufacturing
* Quality and safety aware, with strong attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience.
