This school has recently expanded and due to a huge demand in the local area currently support 100+ pupils with moderate to severe SEN needs. This setting welcomes learners from across the county with varying needs and is part of a network of 7 sister schools. This school is currently seeking a teaching assistant to join their secondary department. This is supporting learners aged 11-16 years. In this role you will support small classes of 3-10 learners on a 1:1 and whole class basis. You will join a welcoming team of 2 TAs and 1 class teacher. This school is Ofsted outstanding and is commended by parents, staff and children alike for being an inclusive, nurturing and safe environment for SEN children to thrive.
This role is a term time only position starting ASAP. Applicants must be available Monday to Friday 08:30-4:30pm.

Requirements
* Relevant SEN experience
* Experience (voluntary or paid) working with children and young adults
* GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
* Eligibility to work in the UK
Responsibilities
* Supporting in the delivery of engaging and interactive lessons and educational activities
* Supporting learners with SEN on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis
