Supply Desk is currently working in partnership with a forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in Beaconsfield, seeking a dedicated RE Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. About the Role:
Deliver engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment where diverse perspectives are respected
Promote critical thinking, debate, and empathy through a well-structured curriculum
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support development
Contribute to the wider school community, including assemblies, PSHE, and enrichment activities
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure outstanding teaching and learning outcomes
The ideal candidate will:
Hold QTS or an equivalent UK teaching qualification (ECTs also welcome to apply)
Have experience teaching RE at secondary level
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a creative approach to lesson planning
Be passionate about encouraging students to engage with philosophical, ethical, and cultural topics
Show excellent communication and classroom management skills
Be committed to safeguarding, inclusion, and continuous professional development
