Our client, an award winning Block Management company, is looking to hire for an experienced Estate Manager to join the team on a brand new residential scheme in East London. You will be taking lead on the mobilisation of a state-of-the-art residential scheme, providing high levels of service to residents and stakeholders.
Salary: £55,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm
Role and Responsibilities:
Support the final stages of mobilisation, helping to ensure the development is ready for its first residents.
Manage and support the on-site team.
Oversee planned and reactive maintenance, including contractor relationships.
Ensure communal areas are presented to the highest standard.
Deliver excellent customer service to residents and visitors alike.
Conduct regular inspections of communal areas, ensuring cleanliness, functionality, and safety.
Manage contractors, approve and assess maintenance work, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Coordinate planned maintenance, ensuring timely execution to required standards.
Manage stock levels for day-to-day items and facilitate meter readings for communal utilities.
Conduct system tests, including emergency lighting, fire alarms, and lift emergency lines.
Handle refuse management, ensuring cleanliness and accessibility of bin stores.
Lead, mentor, and support on-site staff, ensuring they have the tools and training to excel.
Manage staff rotas, holidays, and appraisals to maximise team efficiency.
Enforce policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and compliance.
Experience
Proven experience managing prestigious residential development or similar in the London region.
Strong leadership skills, with experience mentoring and developing teams.
Contractor management expertise, including assessing and approving works.
Financial management experience (desirable).
A strong understanding of Health & Safety with particular experience with the Building Safety Act 2022, CDM regulations 2015, Minimum qualification IOSH Managing Safely and a desire to work toward Nebosh General Certificate preferable.
A strong understanding of facilities management and a desire to work toward gaining a level 4 Certification within the IWFM within the first year.

What You Need
Experience in mobilising a brand new site is preferred but not essential.
Eligibility to work in the UK.
A good standard of education (essential).
Full, clean driving licence (preferred but not essential).
