You will be joining a contractor based in Nottingham who specialise in refurbishment work. They operate across multiple sectors frommercial, heritage, leisure and more. They operate nationally with the Nottingham office looking after the East Midlands region. Due to continued growth they are looking for either a quantity surveyor or senior to join theirmercial team and continue to develop within the business.
Your new role
Legal Expertise: Utilise your legal knowledge to negotiate and draft contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ensurepliance with industry regulations and legal requirements.
Contract Negotiation: Collaborate with clients to establish favourable terms, including project scope, timelines, and payment schedules. Advocate for win-win solutions that benefit all parties.
Document Preparation: Create clear and concise legal documents outlining project details, responsibilities, and deliverables. Maintain accurate records throughout the project lifecycle.
Tender Preparation: Preparepetitive tenders andmercial bids. Estimate budgets, develop project proposals, and present them to potential clients.
Budgeting and Planning: Work closely with project managers to develop realistic budgets and project plans. Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to financial targets.
Client Interaction: Foster positive relationships with clients. Attend meetings, address concerns, and provide exceptional customer service.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will have previous experience working as a Contracts manager on refurbishment projects.
What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a salary up to £55k + car and have all work locally.
