Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated person with good communication and development skills to undertake this essential post. The role will involve supporting the Receipt & Distribution Manager, working with the pharmacy receipt & distribution team, and supporting staff for the receipt, supply, maintenance, and future development of our ward top-up and storage processes, including automation at the Princess Royal Hospital & Royal Sussex Hospital, whilst supporting the QA Lead to maintain MHRA guidelines for the safe and secure receipt, storage, and distribution of medicines.
Main duties of the job
1. Experience working within a Pharmacy environment.
2. Knowledge of storekeeping, stock receipt, distribution, and maintenance processes.
3. Proficiency in Word and Excel.
4. Hold an NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Service certificate or a UK pass of grade 4 or above in English and Maths.
5. Resident in the UK for 3 years.

Job Responsibilities
Support the receipt, supply, and storage of pharmaceuticals, including expiry date checking and stock rotation. Assist in managing department paperwork, maintaining storage areas, and supporting automation and stock management practices. Participate in training, attend other pharmacy locations as needed, and uphold trust values such as communication, kindness, fairness, teamwork, and excellence.

* Stores/Receipt & Distribution experience
* Basic IT skills in Word and Excel
* Basic numeracy skills
