WHAT TO EXPECT DAY TO DAY
We are currently seeking a Planner to work in our team who will be responsible for assisting, maintaining and supporting the development of a robust production plan for the manufacturing team within Camlin. This is a key role in helping provide clarity and structure to facilitate the efficient running of the wider function as we strive to improve efficiencies and meet the customers needs.
As a Planner your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, maintain and execute a concise production plan in order to meet customer demand
2. Plan, create and schedule manufacturing orders in accordance with the operations plan and customer sales orders
3. Create build plan for Lisburn & Cookstown operations to include production, cable assembly and CNC departments.
4. Work with supply chain to co-ordinate inbound logistics and act as a key point of contact with material suppliers.
5. Confirm delivery dates for sales order process
6. Monitor and manage capacity levels in line with overall stock strategy criteria
7. Monitor and expedite stock shortages in line with kitting requirements
Working methods will be appropriate for the post-COVID business environment and may involve working with remote teams.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
8. 2 years previous experience of working within a manufacturing, supply chain environment as either an Expeditor, Buyer, Purchasing Assistant or similar role.
9. 2-years previous experience of using MRP within a supply chain, manufacturing operation.
10. Excellent IT, particularly Microsoft Excel, and Administration skills.
11. Be an EU passport holder.
