Are you passionate about optimising space, enhancing guest experiences, and driving commercial success? We’re looking for a Capacity Manager to join our team and play a key role in maximising the potential of our pubs through smart booking strategies and system excellence.
As Capacity Manager, you’ll be the central figure in managing our booking and events platform across the managed estate. You’ll ensure our pubs are set up for success both operationally and commercially; by configuring systems, analysing performance, and collaborating across teams to deliver seamless guest experiences and maximise revenue.
Key Responsibilities
* System & Capacity Management
* Maintain and optimise our central booking system (Access Collins)
* Configure opening hours, seating layouts, service patterns, and booking parameters
* Ensure system integrity across all sites, especially during seasonal peaks
* Align with Revenue Management to support conversion and upsell goals
* Work with Operations and Marketing to ensure booking strategies match operational capabilities
* Partner with Digital and Guest Experience teams to enhance the guest journey
* Analyse booking behaviours and trends to uncover opportunities
* Support test-and-learn pilots and scale successful initiatives
* Use data to inform strategic decisions around reservations and guest flow
* Champion system best practices across the estate
* Explore and implement innovative reservation and table management solutions
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in restaurant management with a focus on reservations and capacity
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple requests across sites
* Confident working cross-functionally with Operations, Commercial, and Marketing
* Solid understanding of guest behaviour and operational flow
* Experience in a multi-site hospitality or retail environment
* Comfortable analysing booking or performance data
* Proficient in Excel or dashboard tools
* Basic Python scripting skills for reporting and automation
