First Military Recruitment are currently supporting our client in the search for an Administrator.
Standard hours are Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (40hrs) per week.
Our client is keen to offer opportunities to Ex-Military personnel, but all applications will be considered.
Duties and Responsibilities for the Administrator:
1. Answering telephone promptly, directing calls to the appropriate personnel and responding and directing emails as necessary in a professional manner.
2. Supplier invoice coding to nominal ledger.
3. Complete Month end Credit Card reconciliation.
4. Raise Purchase Orders (PO’s) for other departments as required.
5. RHI Submission.
6. Sage Payroll Monthly and Weekly
7. Sales invoicing / Lodgements – providing holiday cover. Cover for other members of the admin team including reception cover for holidays, periods of sickness and other absence when required.
8. Any other duties, within reason and capability, as agreed through consultation with management.
Skills and Qualifications for the Administrator:
9. Proven experience in an administrative position, particularly within finance or office management environment.
10. Ability to manage a high-volume purchase ledger, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts and maintaining accurate records.
11. High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially when dealing with financial data and documents.
12. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
13. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
14. Proficient in using Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Word) and experience with financial software or accounting systems.
15. Previous experience in a similar industry or sector.
16. Familiarity with accounting software.
17. Understanding of relevant compliance and regulatory requirements within administrative and financial domain.

Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum
