What we require from a Residential Support Worker
* Minimum 1 year’s experience working with children
* Must be able to sleep over and undertake shifts, including evenings and weekends
* Passionate about working with children and young people
* Resilience and patience
* Ability to manage challenging behaviour
* Ability to support children with their everyday needs and routines, including emotional support, developing independent skills, advocating for children, record keeping, cooking meals, cleaning the home, washing & ironing
* Ability to organise and lead activities such as swimming, cinema, visits to theme parks, arts & crafts, baking, computer games, etc.
* Willing to work as part of a team
