Experienced Sustainability Consultant (BREEAM Assessor)
Location: BristolWorking Policy: HybridSalary: £30,000 - £40,000 (DOE)
The Opportunity
Are you passionate about driving sustainability in the built environment? Looking to take a hands-on role supporting net zero goals and improving building performance?
We're working with a forward-thinking consultancy seeking a Sustainability Consultant & BREEAM Assessor to join their growing Energy & Sustainability team in Bristol.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with MEP Engineers and Building Physics specialists, contributing to a wide variety of impactful, sustainability-led projects across multiple sectors.

What You'll Be Doing
* Delivering environmental assessments and sustainability certifications (including BREEAM and HQM)
* Developing energy strategies, sustainability reports, and resource efficiency studies
* Working with clients and design teams to embed sustainability across project stages
* Managing project delivery, including tracking progress, budgets, and programme timelines
* Supporting wider sustainability services such as planning submissions, energy and water assessments
* Staying up to date with industry standards, regulations, and emerging best practice
* Supporting and mentoring junior team members where required
* Contributing to whole life carbon and embodied carbon assessments when needed
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience delivering BREEAM or similar sustainability certifications
* Qualified BREEAM Assessor (essential) - AP status advantageous
* Understanding of frameworks such as HQM, WELL, SKA, Fitwel, CEEQUAL, DREAM, etc.
* Strong awareness of net zero principles, LETI guidance, and UK regulations
* Experience across sustainability consultancy or project delivery environments
* Exposure to embodied carbon or LCA work (beneficial)
* Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
* Genuine passion for sustainability and improving building performance
