Procurement Practitioner
A leading engineering and technology organisation is seeking a Procurement Practitioner to join its team on a long-term programme delivering complex, safety-critical systems. This position offers the opportunity to support high-value projects within a regulated environment while contributing to continuous improvement across procurement and supply chain operations.
The Senior Procurement Practitioner will be responsible for planning, delivering, and monitoring procurement activities for assigned equipment and work scopes. The role ensures that goods, services, and information are delivered to quality, cost, and schedule requirements while maintaining strong supplier and stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities
The Procurement Practitioner will independently execute a range of procurement activities, including:
1. Managing end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring delivery of products and services meets quality, cost, and schedule commitments.
2. Conducting transactional procurement tasks such as raising RFQs, negotiating pricing and lead times, issuing and managing purchase orders, expediting deliveries, and overseeing payment progress.
3. Performing supplier assessments and due-diligence checks to ensure effective supplier selection aligned with business needs.
